UW-Milwaukee: Police officer involved in shooting on campus

The individual, who is not connected to UWM, was taken to the hospital. No UWM students or employees were injured in the incident. An investigation is underway. Campus is open, although the area around the Fine Arts Building has been blocked off by police. Operations are normal. However, this is spring break, and no classes are in session.

A Dane County Circuit Court judge is mulling his next step in a lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the recent lame-duck session, after hearing arguments on blocking laws passed during the session.
