State party hosts meet-and-greet in Madison for Dems, convention officials

The state Dem Party this week hosted a meet-and-greet for Dem electeds, activists and others to mingle with leaders from the committee putting on the Democratic National Convention in Milwaukee next summer. Assembly Minority Leader Gordon Hintz, D-Oshkosh, said electeds and others also met separately with convention officials to begin discussing some of the logistics of the coming event. Contact:Office of Public Affairs, 202-482-4883 WASHINGTON – Today, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the affirmative final determinations in the antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of imports of steel racks and parts thereof from China, finding that exporters from China have sold steel racks and parts at less than fair value in the United States at rates from 18.06 to 144.50 percent. In addition, Commerce determined that exporters from China received countervailable subsidies at rates from 1.50 to 102.23 percent.
