Church campagin: Church talks Afghanistan troop withdraw on The Story with Martha MacCallum

Last night, Jason joined Arkansas Senator and fellow veteran Tom Cotton on Fox News Channel’s The Story with Martha MacCallum to talk about withdrawing troops from Afghanistan. As a double-amputee and Afghanistan war veteran, no one is better poised to help advise and support President Trump’s foreign policy decisions than Jason Church. Sending veterans like Jason to Congress is the best way to help defend and protect America’s place in the world. And the best way to ensure President Trump has allies in Congress who will support his decisions. No one will better represent Wisconsinites in Washington. “I think we

U.S. Rep. Sensenbrenner: Drug pricing legislation advances in spending bill

Washington, D.C.—Today, Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner (WI-05) issued the following statement after Congress passed fiscal year 2020 appropriations bills: “Our national debt recently passed $23 trillion, and Washington didn’t even blink. These appropriations bills fail to address our spending problem, and I could not in good conscience vote for either. However, one of the few positive provisions included in them is my bipartisan legislation to lower prescription drug prices – the CREATES Act. While I’m disappointed that Congress has passed up another opportunity to get our fiscal house in order, I am glad that Americans will have better access to more affordable medications.”

Elections Commission divided on addressing judge’s order to strike possible ‘movers’ from voter rolls

Dem appointees on the Wisconsin Elections Commission Monday blocked a motion from their GOP counterparts to quickly comply with a judge’s formal order to strike voters who may have moved. The notices were sent in October to roughly 234,000 people flagged as possibly having moved, and an Ozaukee judge ruled from the bench Friday those who failed to respond within 30 days should be removed from the rolls. It was one of two motions by Chair Dean Knudson, an appointee of Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, that the commission deadlocked on during a contentious telephone conference this morning.
