-- A spokeswoman for Assembly Speaker Robin Vos says GOP leaders sent Gov. Tony Evers the Republican tax cut bill, because there "no reason to wait."
The action by Vos, R-Rochester, and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald, R-Juneau, triggered a window of a week for Evers to sign the bill, veto it or allow the legislation to become law without his signature.
