-- Gov. Tony Evers will be in Richland Center today with Health Services Secretary Andrea Palm and lawmakers for a bill signing.
The event comes as Evers faces a Tuesday deadline to act on 14 pieces of enrolled legislation that originated in the state Senate.
Senate President Roger Roth, R-Appleton, sent all 23 of his chamber's enrolled bills to the guv on Nov. 19, beginning a seven-day countdown for Evers to take action. Otherwise, the legislation becomes law without his signature.
