-- DOA Secretary Joel Brennan today said the guv proposed $2.5 billion in his new capital budget -- a threefold increase over what his predecessor last sought -- due to "pent up demand" and the need to address deferred maintenance.
The capital budget includes nearly $2 billion in proposed new bonding with nearly $1.1 million of the overall spending earmarked for the UW System.
