-- State Dem Party Chair Ben Wikler said the 5th and 7th CDs are "gerrymandered, tough seats" but believes the race to replace U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy, R-Weston, will "come down to maybe a percentage point."
But state GOP Chair Andrew Hitt -- who was seated next to his counterpart on the stage at a luncheon -- dismissed Wikler's claim of gerrymandering, noting that Duffy "won under the old maps."
"You talk about gerrymandering all we want, but at the end of the day, he won under those 2010 maps," Hitt said.
