Wisconsin Department of Transportation Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) continues its focus on customer service and innovation by simplifying its most-used form, the Title/License Plate Application (MV1). DMV created a new online guide to walk customers through the detailed application and to estimate fees. “This new online guide takes the guesswork out for customers,” DMV Administrator Kristina Boardman said. “Individuals who want to title a vehicle or apply for license plates will be lead step-by-step through the application. All the fees will be assessed for the customer’s specific situation and location.” More than 9,600 customers each month use the Title/License

Ebben campaign: Endorsement from Retired City of La Crosse Police Chief Ed Kondracki

“It is my honor to enthusiastically endorse Jessi Ebben as a candidate for the United States House of Representatives. These are extremely tumultuous times where basic principles and values are being challenged. Principles are self evident natural laws with which successful leaders align themselves. I know that Jessi is a young energetic, principled individual who will stand up against people like AOC and the so called SQUAD. This is no time to rely on career politicians to meet these challenging demands. As a proactive leader she will not allow outside influences to impair her judgment.” Ed Kondracki City of La Crosse Police Chief (retired) Former

Wisconsin Budget Project: New online database shows law enforcement spending in individual communities

Local governments in Wisconsin — including cities, villages, towns, and counties — spend more than $2 billion a year on law enforcement and related costs like jails. Black community leaders have called on policymakers to put that money to better use, shifting resources away from law enforcement and towards mental health services, housing, job assistance, and other services that strengthen communities. Now, a new online database from the Wisconsin Budget Project allows residents to look up spending on law enforcement and related costs for Wisconsin’s largest 100 cities and all 72 counties, and see how that amount compares to public
