Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council Applications Due Aug. 21 MADISON – The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) reminds interested high school seniors to apply now for the new Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council. Applications will be accepted through August 21, 2020. Self-nominations include a completed one-page application, resume, 300-word essay, one-minute video, and letter of recommendation. In its first year, the Wisconsin Agriculture Youth Council will have 15 members. Students will serve a one-year term and receive a certificate at the completion of their year. Biden leading Trump in two new Wisconsin polls

Two new polls have Joe Biden up 6 points on Donald Trump in Wisconsin. The latest survey from the Elections Research Center at UW-Madison, released today, found 49 percent of registered voters back Biden, while 43 percent supported the president. Meanwhile, a new CBS News poll had it 48-42 in Biden’s favor among likely voters. The UW poll, conducted in collaboration with the Wisconsin State Journal, found among registered voters who said they were certain to vote, Biden’s lead grew to 52-44.
