Starting at 4 pm tomorrow, Friday August 14, UW-Madison faculty and staff will take part in an informational picket calling for a “Moral Restart.” The picket will be along University Avenue, starting near East Campus Mall. Milwaukee County Transit System: Announces detours ahead of DNC Convention

MILWAUKEE (August 14, 2020) — Even though a smaller event is planned for the Democratic National Convention (DNC) at the Wisconsin Center, the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) expects to have some service delays related to detours around the facility. Affected routes include 12, 14, 19, 30, 57, 80, Blueline and Goldline. Temporary bus stop signs will be posted. In addition to DNC-related activities, there may be multiple demonstrations and marches happening near the Wisconsin Center during that time frame.
