Palzewicz campaign: More roads and bridges not the answer

Brookfield, WI – When public infrastructure issues come up, it’s usually about roads and bridges.  Democrat Tom Palzewicz running for Wisconsin’s Fifth Congressional District seat, is looking beyond immediate needs, but to our needs in the future. In southeast Wisconsin, there has been focus on the Marquette and Zoo interchanges in Milwaukee, the Foxconn project in Racine County and upgrades on I-94 and I-43.  That is an immediate concern, but Palzewicz believes our focus on roads will not serve the needs of the community in the years ahead. ‘Anarchy and chaos will not advance justice, and must be stopped’ OSHKOSH – U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) said the following Wednesday after another night of violence in Kenosha: “It is heartbreaking that the violence in Kenosha has now escalated to include the loss of human life. Although it will not guarantee peace, Governor Evers should reconsider his refusal to accept President Trump’s offer to send more personnel to restore order.  “It is now three days since Jacob Blake was shot. Two killed in overnight shooting as protests continue in Kenosha and Republicans urge federal help

Two people were killed and a third injured in a shooting as a third night of protests roiled downtown Kenosha. In a statement this morning, Kenosha police provided few details of the shootings. The third person with gunshot wounds was transported to a hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
