MADISON – This morning, Governor Tony Evers announced the full list of citizen appointees to the People’s Maps Commission, which is tasked with designing fair, impartial, and nonpartisan legislative districts based on the 2020 U.S. Census data for submission to the State Legislature. Dept. of Natural Resources: Brownfield program launches interactive map to highlight statewide cleanup and redevelopment successes

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) now has a GIS-based map available that offers a statewide look at many of the state’s successful brownfield cleanup and redevelopment projects since the passage of the Land Recycling Act in 1995. Dept. of Health Services: Expands COVID Connect test registration website to include Spanish and Hmong languages

Today, Governor Tony Evers announced that COVID Connect(link is external), the Department of Health Services (DHS) COVID-19 test registration website, is now available in Spanish and soon will be available in Hmong and Somali. Since COVID Connect launched in July, more than 180,000 test registrations have been logged on the site. AARP: Spotlights importance of 50-plus voters in new presidential poll

MADISON, WISCONSIN – Today AARP Wisconsin released a new survey of likely Wisconsin voters that found that President Trump (45%) trails former Vice President Joe Biden (50%). The survey, conducted by the bipartisan team of Benenson Strategy Group and GS Strategy Group, also found that a majority of voters age 50-plus oppose (52%) how President Trump is managing the coronavirus pandemic.
