Federal judge declines to issue injunction in lawsuit over election administration grants

A federal judge has refused to issue an injunction preventing five Wisconsin cities from using private grants to help put on next month’s election. The Wisconsin Voter Alliance, which has GOP ties, filed suit seeking to prevent Green Bay, Kenosha, Madison, Milwaukee and Racine from using $6.3 million in grants from The Center for Tech and Civic Life to cover election costs related to COVID-19.
