-- Gov. Tony Evers announced this morning his administration has applied for federal approval to offer the enhanced unemployment benefits President Trump created through executive action.
At the same time, Evers called for Trump and Congress to agree on a more robust response.
If approved, the program would mean an additional $300 per week for those eligible, retroactive to the week ending Aug. 1. The federal government had been providing an additional $600 a week, but that benefit ran out ...
