Join us to explore the many ways to advance health across the world at the 16th Global Health Symposium, presented virtually on April 14, 2021. Indigenous scholars and community members join University of Wisconsin-Madison faculty, staff, clinicians and students to share local to global research, education and outreach projects.

This year’s symposium, “Fostering Resilience Through Indigenous Wisdom & Scientific Knowledge ,” will explore the intersection of traditional practices that advance well-being and academic research, education and outreach projects that also promote health. Local and global scholars and practitioners, including from Wisconsin’s Native Nations and the UW-Madison, will showcase the complexities of health challenges and the many kinds of expertise needed to address them.
