MON AM Update: Evers taps retired Jefferson County judge for GOP appointment to Ethics Commission

-- Gov. Tony Evers has tapped former Jefferson County Judge David Wambach for the Ethics Commission at the suggestion of GOP legislative leaders.
If confirmed, Wambach would fill the vacancy left by the expiration of former Waukesha County Judge Mac Davis' term May 1.
Under state law, the guv appoints two members of the Ethics Commission. In each case, the appointments are picked from a pool of candidates submitted by legislative leaders.
