From ...
-- Deb Kerr tells she personally paid off $9,157 in debts that were left over from her unsuccessful bid for state superintendent.
Kerr, whose pre-election report showed she had more than $30,000 in incurred obligations, sent a fundraising appeal after her loss to Jill Underly seeking help in paying off her remaining debts. Her final report shows the campaign paid $21,188 of her debts, while she covered the rest of the obligations from her own pocket.
