Join, and the Wisconsin Technology Council for the third 2021 trade policy virtual event on Wednesday, Sept. 8, from noon to 1 p.m. CT. Attendance is free.

The topic is: “Wisconsin-Style Diplomacy in a Pandemic-Influenced World: How Strong International Relationships and Trade Lead to Economic Growth.”

The discussion features:

Mark Green, a former Wisconsin lawmaker and Congress member from the Green Bay area who served as ambassador to Tanzania and administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). He now is the president and CEO of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, a non-partisan policy forum for tackling global issues through independent research and open dialogue.

Tom Loftus, a former Wisconsin legislative leader from Sun Prairie who ran for governor and served as ambassador to Norway and as a University of Wisconsin regent. He also has been a top adviser to the World Health Organization and the University of Wisconsin System.
