THU PM Update: Vos caught off guard by Senate GOP reaction to COVID-19 bill

-- The Assembly's top two Republicans expressed surprise at the pushback from Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu on their COVID-19 bill, saying they believed they had a deal before taking it to the floor.
Speaker Robin Vos, R-Rochester, earlier this week told reporters he had good conversations with LeMahieu, R-Oostburg, and expressed confidence the Senate would take it up. But after meeting with his GOP colleagues this week, LeMahieu said in a statement, "There is a reason that was an Assembly bill and not a Senate bill."
