-- Assembly Republicans are set to caucus today as they consider whether to sign off on a resolution that would overturn Gov. Tony Evers' latest public health emergency and mask mandate.
The Senate approved the resolution last week. But Speaker Robin Vos, R-Rochester, put off a vote in the Assembly after news that nixing the public health emergency would result in more than 200,000 households losing some $49 million in enhanced food stamp benefits.
