The COVID-19 pandemic has thrust public health into the spotlight. We hear terms such as epidemiology, surveillance, contact tracing, and herd immunity daily.
This session will address questions about public health and the COVID-19 response. We will introduce public health, summarize the public health response to COVID-19 over the past year, and highlight community-engaged approaches to health promotion during the pandemic. Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers will also describe their response to the pandemic.
