-- Assembly Speaker Robin Vos insists the COVID-19 bill his caucus is expected to approve tomorrow is every bit the compromise that Gov. Tony Evers portrayed his version to be.
Evers last month released a bill he said contained agreements hammered out in discussions with Vos, R-Rochester, and Senate Majority Leader Devin LeMahieu, R-Oostburg. But both GOP leaders rejected that description and accused the guv of walking away from negotiations by releasing the legislation.
