Sen. Wimberger: Evers administration permits new biosolid spreading containing PFAS In northeast Wisconsin

MADISON, WI — Wisconsin State Senator Eric Wimberger (R-Green Bay) issued the following statement regarding the Evers Administration permitting new PFAS present biosolid spreading. The spreading was permitted and completed over the last year. “As recently as November 2021, Governor Evers and his administration permitted approximately 240 acres of farmland in Northeast Wisconsin to receive biosolids at the rate of 1.5 dry tons per acre.
