Thank goodness we have Tony Evers, whose veto power can stop the worst of the legislative Republicans’ attacks on Wisconsin’s elections, several of them passed during last week’s session of the Legislature.

I’m strongly opposed to any effort by members of my own party to meddle with our elections and spread election disinformation.
Americans were manipulated and turned against each other to hide government mismanagement, while many died unnecessary deaths.
I want to commend our men and women in uniform and civilian personnel at Fort McCoy who helped facilitate the resettlement of more than 12,600 Afghan evacuees.
The polling shows more and more parents want that opportunity for their kids – and more and more other Wisconsinites believe the right thing to do is to give it to them now.
These are the types of jobs that built the middle class all across this state and will help rebuild it again.
Republican senators who are looking for someone to vouch for Judge Jackson should be impressed with the assessment from the very conservative, and historically very partisan, former House leader.
