Franklin, WI – Forward Latino, a non-partisan, non-profit service, and advocacy organization condemns the mass hate crime that occurred last night in Colorado Springs, Colorado and calls for the immediate passage of the bipartisan Respect for Marriage Act. Darryl Morin, Forward Latino National President issued the following statement: “Last night in Colorado Springs, Colorado, a gunman armed with an AR-15 style assault rifle and motivated by hate and extremism took the lives of at least 5 individuals and wounded an additional 25. The murdered and wounded were targeted for doing no more than living their lives peacefully, openly and honestly.
