To my esteemed Republican colleagues:

Congratulations on your election to the Wisconsin State Assembly, and to our new members, welcome to the Assembly Republican Caucus! Your hard work, diligence and fortitude during campaign season has paid off – now the real work begins.

As we embark on a new session, I humbly ask for your vote for the position of Assistant Majority Leader. The last two years have been extraordinary. Between the pandemic and other current events, the strength of our caucus has been challenged like never before. Everyone benefits when our caucus stays unified, and working together is the only way to fulfill our campaign promises and serve the great state of Wisconsin.

As Assistant Majority Leader, I would like to whip our caucus back on track, and create a professional, motivated environment where we work as a team. I want our members to feel that serving in this great building is an enjoyable experience. Everyone’s voices should be heard and respected, and it is my hope that as a caucus, we are excited to come together and put our shared conservative values into real legislation and policy.

Mentorship is a key component of the Assistant Majority Leader position. I was first elected to the Assembly during a special election in 2018, a hard-fought race that garnered national media attention for several weeks. Times were tough, and the media attention was hard on my family, but we persevered and came out stronger. I hope to use this experience to mentor, assist and advise my colleagues during their time in the Assembly.

I have personally asked for your vote from many of you, and I am glad to answer any questions you may have about me, my goals, and my qualifications for Assistant Majority Leader.

I humbly ask for your support for Assistant Majority Leader, and I look forward to working with you on moving Wisconsin forward. My office door is always open with a hot cup of coffee, and I look forward to serving you in our caucus leadership.

Sincerely,
