-- Soon-to-be UW-Madison Chancellor Dr. Jennifer Mnookin today will meet with reporters on a virtual call after a round of stinging criticism from Republican lawmakers over her selection to lead the system's flagship campus.
The UCLA Law School Dean will start her new role on Aug. 4. Current Chancellor Rebecca Blank will leave her post May 31, and UW-Madison Provost John Karl Scholz will serve as interim chancellor until Mnookin enters.
