KENOSHA, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) is investigating an officer involved critical incident in Kenosha, Wis. that occurred on the evening of Monday, December 19, 2022. At approximately 8:19 p.m., officers with the Kenosha Police Department and the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of an active shooter in the 1300 block of 56th Street in the City of Kenosha. ACLU: Criticizes DPI decision that ignores pervasive discrimination in Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District

CHIPPEWA FALLS — The ACLU of Wisconsin criticized the Department of Public Instruction’s decision today that allows the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District (CFAUSD) to continue to ignore the discriminatory environment in its schools.
