At least 140,000 more housing units needed to meet estimated 2030 demand

Wisconsin needs to build about 140,000 housing units by 2030 to meet current estimates for housing needs. But that number could be more than 200,000 if the state’s working-age population grows.  That’s according to a new report from Forward Analytics, the research arm of the Wisconsin Counties Association. MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) today announced the State Closure process in the Lower Fox River PCB Cleanup Project. This is the next milestone for the 17-year-long cleanup of the Lower Fox River and Green Bay now that all cleanup work is finished.
