Marquette University: Police Department announces body-worn camera pilot program, full adoption anticipated in fall 2023

MILWAUKEE — Marquette University Police Department has announced a pilot program to implement body-worn cameras throughout the department. If the pilot program is successful, the goal will be to outfit every MUPD officer with body-worn cameras by the start of the fall 2023 semester in August. Body-worn cameras record officer interactions with members of the community, providing an additional tool in documenting calls to service and evidence during investigations. CUNA Mutual Group workers strike as company ‘remains fully committed’ to reaching deal with union

As hundreds of CUNA Mutual Group workers in Madison began a labor strike Friday, the company said it “remains fully committed” to reaching a collective bargaining agreement with the union.  More than 450 employees represented by the Office and Professional Employees International Union Local 39 were on strike Friday, according to a release from Wisconsin AFL-CIO.
