Evers signs shared revenue, voucher bills as part of deal with GOP leaders

Gov. Tony Evers today signed into law legislation that would increase state aid to counties and municipalities by more than $1 billion and boost funding for the state’s voucher program.
The bills are part of a deal the Dem guv reached with GOP leaders that would also pump an additional $1 billion into K-12 education in the next state budget.
