Born Oct. 20, 1964, in Oakland, California. Graduated from Howard University and UC Law San Francisco. Served as San Francisco district attorney from 2004- 2011, then California attorney general from 2011-2017. Elected to U.S. Senate in 2016. Elected vice president in 2020.

Tim Walz

Born April 6, 1964, in West Point, Nebraska. Graduated from the University of Houston. Worked as a teacher and retired after 24 years in the Army National Guard. Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2006 and reelected for five more terms. Elected governor of Minnesota in 2018 and reelected in 2022.

Donald Trump

Born June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York. Graduated from the University of Pennsylvania. Real estate mogul who formerly co-produced and hosted the reality TV series “The Apprentice” from 2004-2015. Elected U.S. president in 2016.

JD Vance

Born Aug. 2, 1984, in Middleton, Ohio. Graduated from Ohio State University and Yale Law School. Served in the U.S. Marines from 2003-2007 and authored a 2016 memoir, “Hillbilly Elegy.” Elected to U.S. Senate in 2022.

Born Feb. 11, 1962, in Madison. Graduated from UW-Madison. Worked as a practicing attorney. Elected to the state Assembly 1992-96. Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives 1998-2010 and to U.S. Senate in 2012. Lives in Madison.
