Marinette Co. judge temporarily bars Elections Commission from requiring new absentee ballot envelope

A Marinette County judge has granted a temporary injunction barring the Elections Commission from requiring clerks to use a new agency-approved envelope that continues to double as a voter’s official request for an absentee ballot.
Judge James Morrison will now hear further arguments on whether to permanently bar the agency from requiring the use of the envelopes.
