-- Dem Secretary of State Sarah Godlewski has dropped her request for the GOP-controlled Joint Finance Committee to approve additional funding and staff for her office.
The committee had planned to take up the request during today’s 13.10 hearing. Instead, Godlewski wrote in a letter yesterday she plans to include the ask in her upcoming biennial budget request.
