The Joint Finance Committee will be in tomorrow to begin tackling the remaining state budget items as the panel prepares to send the two-year spending plan to the full Legislature.

Meanwhile, GOP legislative leaders are moving to set up an extraordinary session to vote on the budget.

Assembly Org this morning noticed that a paper ballot will be distributed tomorrow to authorize an extraordinary session starting Wednesday solely to take up the budget.
