The other side of his debate with Joe Biden.

We are launching the bipartisan Democracy Defense Project to help restore trust in our election system. We come from different political parties and have different political ideologies, but we share one common goal; promoting fair elections in Wisconsin.

While we obsess over the horse race and the latest polls, rubbernecking at the tragic disintegration of an accomplished, public-spirited president, the plot to overthrow American democracy and replace it with a violent, repressive, despotic regime is well underway.

On this 4th of July, I will celebrate the American idea. The America of the future; the America we have yet to become. It won’t be a day off, but a day “on”.

America the Beautiful still shines, it still shines, a beacon of hope for individual liberty for all in the world.

This July Fourth weekend is not best suited to specific foreign policy discussion but is particularly appropriate for celebrating and honoring veterans.

It does not matter if we walk into our local firehouse or community center on our own two legs to vote, or are driven to a drop box and aided in ensuring a ballot is delivered. Praise should be given to those municipalities that take pride in ensuring voters have every opportunity to make their voices heard via a ballot.
