Anti-woke conservatives want to whitewash history to preserve their dream of American exceptionalism. But we can celebrate our nation’s ideals even while acknowledging that we’ve fallen short of them.

Kudos to all of those who stayed the course, passed the laws, improved the site, kept the faith, ignored the critics and worked to land such a prized partner. It really is great when a plan comes together.
