Democracy died a little bit Tuesday night, but not in darkness like the Washington Post believed it would; in the Colorado Supreme Court. In a 4-3 decision that already ranks as one of the worst in American history, justices voted to remove former President Donald Trump from Colorado’s presidential ballot next year.

We may not always agree on every policy but in general, Republicans – Conservatives – Patriots can agree. Take the wins as we can get them. It may be a little at a time or in big chunks but let’s stop the circular firing squad and don’t stay home helping to elect liberals.

Matthew Desmond’s “Poverty by America” takes a closer look at how, often unwittingly, ordinary Americans contribute to the huge financial inequities that, despite the nation’s wealth, fester and grow, leaving little hope for millions who wind up trapped by it all.

There’s a case pending in the U.S. Supreme Court that will decide the fate of this great nation as well as decide your individual fate. If the court decides to in favor of the IRS, we’re in deep, deep trouble.
