Kellyanne Conway, a former adviser to President Trump, and Reince Priebus, his former chief of staff, say they’re both skeptical the eight Republican primary candidates will see a big enough boost after the Milwaukee debate to take on Trump at this early point in the primary. Meanwhile, former Gov. Scott Walker, who attended the Milwaukee debate, concluded, “Nobody said anything on that podium that made Trump supporters feel like they need to shift.”

Trump because he had a reported 80 million viewers the same time of his Tucker Carlson interview at the same time as the debate while the debate had only 15 million viewers. Milwaukee and Wisconsin were also winners because the debate was at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee; the same building as the convention next year.
