Dem state convention resolutions call for limits on election investigations, adopting unicameral Legislature

Dem convention delegates this weekend in La Crosse will take up resolutions that call for limiting voting investigations to bipartisan legislative committees and adopting a unicameral Legislature. The resolution to limit voting investigations references Gableman’s 2020 election investigation. It also calls to limit the number of recounts to two, stating the party asking for a recount must cover the cost. The resolution also notes the cost to taxpayers, which has exceeded $1 million.
