Wisconsin is at the center of the attack on American democracy that reached a frightening crescendo a year ago with the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.

On January 6th, President Trump violated the most sacred and important tradition of our democracy – the peaceful transfer of power from one administration to another.

A book due out this week, “The Steal: “The Attempt to Overturn the 2020 Election and the People who Stopped It,” includes a chapter that focuses on Rohn Bishop, then party chairman in Fond du Lac County, the birthplace of the Republican Party.
