DC Wrap: Moore, Pocan vote “present” on resolution condemning rise in antisemitism

U.S. Reps. Gwen Moore and Mark Pocan were the only Wisconsin House members who cast “present” votes on a resolution condemning the drastic rise of antisemitism. The only two Wisconsin Dem in the House weren’t the only who refused to vote on the measure. They joined 90 of their Dem colleagues in the “present” column and 17 others who did not vote at all. Still, the resolution passed 311-14.

Rep. Kitchens: Baby box bill now law

(Madison) – Wisconsin will join at least 14 other states that have an anonymous 24-hour, 7-day-a-week drop-off site for newborns. On Wednesday, Governor Evers signed Senate Bill 369 into law. Representative Kitchens, who co-authored the bill, says the new law will save lives.
