Lawmakers on a bipartisan 80-18 vote approved SB 76, sending it to Gov. Tony Evers’ desk. The Senate last month 23-8 approved the measure.

AB 141, which would prevent state agencies and local governments from restricting the use of devices based on their energy source, such as leaf blowers or lawnmowers, passed 62-35. AB 142, which would do the same for motor vehicles, passed 63-35.

The Assembly today passed 87-8 a bill to provide disabled parking privileges on UW System campuses for people with disabilities that limit or impair their ability to walk.
