The looming election weighs on many investors’ minds. Here are three big reasons why history suggests you can set the election to the side when conducting financial planning.

Over 250,000 Washington Post readers are canceling their subscriptions because the newspaper, by order of its owner, won’t endorse Kamala Harris for President. Or anyone else.

When the Washington Post, a national newspaper renowned for many decades of vital reporting and valued judgments on the Op-Ed pages, decided to end a historically important function of the lifeblood of any newspaper, a tremor of concern was felt from coast to coast.

We are fighting for our lives, our loved ones, and the dream of one day belonging to the only place millions of us call home. This election feels like a perilous moment in time where everything is hanging in the balance.

On the basis of economics, the choice is clear. The cost of living, unemployment, and government debt would all be higher under Trump administration.

Like Trump and Hovde, President Reagan also presented an existential threat to the tyranny of the left.

Why voters should rethink the referendum.

With Madison projected to grow by nearly 100,000 residents in the next 25 years, it is critical that we ensure our public schools are fully prepared to meet the needs of both current and future students.

Government of, by and for the people requires participation at the polls.

Hovde seems to be making inroads on gaining on Baldwin. The most recent polling has Hovde up by 1 percentage point. It wasn’t that long ago that Baldwin had a 7-point lead. Basically the race is too close to call and Hovde can win this race.

Would they benefit from Trump’s plans?

Yes, we have an immigration problem that needs fixing, but we have many more problems that need to be addressed. And the demonization of immigrants is not going to solve them any more than it did back in 1924.

Businesspeople should be scared stiff that Trump’s economic goofiness will trigger another round of high inflation and even a recession.


Democrats try to guilt-trip America into voting against Trump.

Climate disasters will impact us all, including here in Wisconsin. Here is what you can do.

The time is now for political leaders to fairly and equitably support the education of all children in our state.
