I suppose I get why Donald Trump had a big rally at Madison Square Garden the other night and why his campaign filled the Garden with crude, hate-filled speakers. His closing strategy is to turn out disaffected young men who otherwise wouldn’t vote. But did it cost him more than he’ll get?
When Trump had the chance, he failed to protect us from PFAS, which has so far been detected in the drinking water of more than 7,000 communities.
Despite lots of lip-service about helping small business headed into the 2024 election, our political leaders are leaving “the little guy” behind.

I don’t know who is the master coordinator of this narrow-minded stunt, but you may have noticed in last week’s League of Women Voters’ “Candidates’ Answers” insert in the paper, all but two Republicans — including U.S. Senate candidate Eric Hovde — refused to take part.

Their politics are the promise of a better future for everyone. They love America, including Wisconsin, and are relentlessly optimistic. Vote for Harris, Baldwin and Cooke.

If “toxic masculinity” exists then Donald Trump is the first case study, while Kamala Harris is a stand up woman.
Under current Wisconsin state law, health insurers are required to provide one annual mammogram to women under 50 and two to women aged 45-49 who meet certain criteria, all with no out-of-pocket cost to the patient. However, for women with dense breasts and others who have high risk factors, a mammogram alone just isn’t enough.
