People are voting with their feet to come to the U.S., despite how Trump characterizes it.

Lower standards set kids up for failure in college and workplaces.

One good side to the stress: People are motivated to volunteer and record numbers have voted early.

I cannot stress enough the importance of voting. It is the bedrock of our democracy to keep our constitutional republic thriving. We must not take this right for granted; make your voice heard.

While we need to elect candidates who will smash the barriers that are holding working-class voters back and make Election Day a federal holiday, we also need to elect leaders who will fight for working people instead of corporations. Our voice matters. And it starts with making the time to vote.
