Children from Ashland to Janesville, from Holmen to Algoma will now see one part of how racial justice unfolded in our state when standing alongside the Vel Phillips sculpture.

These two proposed amendments seek to take away the ability of the governor to direct the spending of emergency funds available to respond to natural disasters such as tornados, floods, fires and the like.

Presidents George Washington, James Buchanan, and James Madison, the father of the Constitution all were married, but childless.

Vance was clearly being glib to make a point. But the point is valid. Liberals are generally less happy than conservatives. The studies showing this have been replicated for decades.

Vance was once a “never Trumper,” but reversed course on entering the 2020 Senate race in Ohio when he decided he needed Trump’s endorsement to have a chance to win the Republican nomination. He suddenly became an outspoken supporter of the then-president and a spokesperson for Trump’s Big Lie.
