With the DNC completed, both parties have now nominated their candidates and made their platforms known. However, frustratingly lacking from the speeches at both conventions was a plan to address rising health care costs.

So claims literature mailed by Republican Party of Wisconsin. Let’s examine the facts.

Wisconsin prisons are a mess. A dangerous and too often lethal mess for both inmates and staff. And yet, where’s the action from state lawmakers and the governor?

Just recently the WMC Litigation Center filed a lawsuit on behalf of two taxpayers against the town of Eureka, alleging the town’s permitting requirements for livestock farms are unlawful. And that they are. At least in my take, it’s just another example of “local control” gone wild.

This year’s two national conventions served to underscore the stark differences between the candidates seeking America’s votes, more clearly than any in the recent past.

The left has been saying for years that Donald Trump is a threat to democracy, but the record shows that Democrats need to take a good look in the mirror.

Prior to the Inflation Reduction Act, I was paying $22,000 per year for my life-saving medications under Medicare.

If you want the shortages of the Soviet Union and the communist countries, go ahead and vote for Kamala.

The Harris/Walz Democratic ticket for the White House stands squarely with Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s defense of his country. The Trump/Vance Republican ticket wants to spend no more U.S. dollars on weapons and ammunition to fight against Putin.

Ozaukee and Waukesha now less red while Washington County resists the trend.

November vote: Party says this bodes well for victories in presidential and legislative races.
