Wisconsin’s DOC and DNR are without cabinet secretaries.

When given an opportunity to educate young adults and reject antisemitic, terrorist, and communist activists, UWM and Chancellor Mone chose to support and enable them. This choice is a disgrace that succors a culture of hate on the UWM campus.

Jewish leaders have decried this agreement as offensive and dangerous and say the chancellor, Mark Mone, has failed to “adequately respond to anti-Semitic incidents on campus since October 7.” They want the Board of Regents to negate it. They must.

All 5 of state’s remaining Republican House members voted against aid to Ukraine.

Any cyberattack on a vulnerable water utility in America has the potential of massive public health harm, especially in cities having tens of thousands of lead service lines still in operation today.

We in Wisconsin could not hope for a more strategic partner. Microsoft is the most valuable corporation in the world with a market value that has passed $3 trillion.

Work taking place at WARF Therapeutics is a big part of why Wisconsin is being considered for a medical “tech hub” designation by the federal government, which could put more resources into play. Wisconsin has all the world-class ingredients to build such a hub – and to answer the question sometimes asked on Main Street or inside the State Capitol: “What’s all that research doing for us?”

The hypocrisy is thick and deep. Conservative groups keep swiping away rights from people while claiming their purpose is to secure their God-given rights.

As chaos seems to be the focus of so many in American and Wisconsin politics right now, the Wisconsin Young Republicans stand ready to fight for freedom and take back control in 2024.

The party is awash in cash so it has decided to spend $140 million on a campaign to better connect with rural America. That’s a good idea. But their strategy is questionable.

Sadly, in too many cases, society overlooks mental health care, leaving many people vulnerable to afflictions such as addiction, depression, anxiety and many other diseases. This stigmatization has leached into our politics.

Thirty years of problems beg fundamental change or permanent closure.

Microsoft, probably the most successful American corporation both by reputation and revenues, announced plans to invest $3.3 billion to build an AI data center by the end of 2026 on the campus that had been created for Foxconn.
