In selecting new maps, I agree that the court should be guided by the principle of majority rule because that is the rule embodied in the text, structure and design of the Wisconsin constitution.

Democrats, to the outrage of their hard-left wing, are serious about doing something meaningful as are some Senate Republicans. But the Trumpy Party as a whole would rather exploit the issue than deal with it. Will voters notice?
